Why we separate iGenics from AREDS2
The National Eye Institute’s AREDS2 formula uses vitamin C 500 mg, vitamin E 400 IU, copper 2 mg, lutein 10 mg, zeaxanthin 2 mg and zinc 80 mg. The current iGenics label lists different amounts for several of these nutrients, including zinc 20 mg, lutein 20 mg and zeaxanthin 10 mg.
